About Ultimate License Prep

Ultimate License Prep is independent exam preparation for people studying for the California real estate salesperson exam. It follows the exam content outline that the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) publishes, and it is not connected to DRE.

What Ultimate License Prep is

Ultimate License Prep is an online classroom for the California real estate salesperson exam. It offers practice questions grouped by exam content area, each with an explanation, plus flashcards and progress tracking.

Who it is for

It is for people who are getting ready to sit the DRE salesperson exam. DRE sets the eligibility requirements, so confirm them with DRE before you apply.

How to try it and how payment works

The free preview opens the real classroom with no sign-up so you can judge the questions and explanations before you pay. A course is a one-time purchase with no subscription. DRE charges its own fees separately; check the current amounts on the DRE website.

California only

Everything here is written for California. It will not prepare you for another state's exam, and rules change, so confirm current requirements with DRE.

English and Spanish

The website is available in English and Spanish. The classroom and the practice questions are in English today.

Independent, with no guarantees

Ultimate License Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the California Department of Real Estate. DRE sets the exams, the requirements and the fees. No course can guarantee a passing result, and we do not publish pass rates or testimonials.

How the content is made

Exam facts come from the pages DRE publishes at dre.ca.gov, and the source is named where a fact is stated. The method page explains how to report a mistake.
